Poetry is the color of music, the rhyme of the rainbow, and the rhythm of life. Poetry is ambrosia and nectar, the food of the gods, nourishment for the soul. Children feel poetry in their souls. Poetry is dance and movement and music and art all in one. Here are some collections of poetry which you can celebrate with a child.

A Child’s Garden of Verses – Robert Louis Stevenson. The renown author of Jekyll and Hyde was a loving father as well and composed these lovely verses for his children. Filled enchantment and wonder, these stories hark back to a gentle, pastoral time when children frolicked in the garden after supper, built castles, sailed the wide ocean and went off to be pirates, all before bedtime.

Reflections on a Gift of Watermelon Pickle- I bought my copy for 35 cents from Scholastic flyer from my teacher back in 1974. The pages are falling out and creased. This collection should be on every child and teen bookshelf. Authors include William Carlos Williams, Saki, Emily Dickinson, Carl Sandburg, T.S. Eliot, Langston Hughes and Hafiz.

Joyful Noises
: Poems for Two Voices’ – 1989 Newbery Medal. Paul Fleishmann (twice winner of Newbery Award), Paul Beddows. Collection of dialog poems based upon creatures from the insect kingdom. There are all sorts of onomatapeia and metaphor in these poems.Perfect for Reader’s Theater.

The Prophet and Song of the Rain- Kahlil Gibran. Written in the 1920′s by the Lebanese mystic, Kahlil Gibran, these poems, while deep and soul-searching, have a cadence and lyrical tone that will appeal to a child. Teenagers, especially, will love Kahlil Gibran. His poems describe nature in an allegorical way. He writes about life, faith, work, family, money, travel, time and love. Gibran’s imagery is breath-taking.

Red Dragonfly on My Shoulder – Sylvia Cassedy. A collection of Haiku translated from the Japanese. The haiku is the essence of the Orient with its stark simplicity, economy of words and pleasing order. Just as a Japanese floral arrangement has only one lotus blossom or pussywillow branch artistically arranged, haiku poems focus the mind on one simple idea. Children love haiku because it is easy read and write. The simplicity of the syllable patterns and lines make Haiku one of the most satisfying forms of poetry to write.

Shadow- 1982 Caldecott. Marcia Brown, from the poetry of Blaise Cendrars. Illustrated in brilliant colors and woodcut pictures. Depicting the splendor of life on the Central African Savannah.

A Visit to William Blake’s Inn – 1982 Newbery. Nancy Willard. This volume with Regency England illustrations features a delightfully whimsical feast of poetry from Mr. William Blake and his wonderfully quaint inn, where lives a ‘tyger’ and a ‘man in a marmalade hat’. Gentle, joyful imagination.

These poems will soothe the soul, tickle the imagination and delight the heart of any child!

We at Holiday Inn Harare are sited in the centre of the city, close to its retail, business and financial districts. Within easy reach of attractions like the National Gallery and Harare Botanical Gardens, we offer excellent facilities for business guests, with eight conference rooms able to seat up to 300 delegates, and an in-house professional sales and meetings team.

The capital of Zimbabwe and its largest city, Harare developed in the 19th century, and was once a wealthy city envied for its broad thoroughfares, landscaped parks and handsome colonial architecture. Civil unrest and economic collapse followed in the late 20th century. However, three recent events have helped shape the city’s future: the adoption of the American dollar as Zimbabwe’s national currency; a major trade and investment initiative with neighbouring South Africa, and a city regeneration plan which swept away Harare’s most crime ridden and deprived areas.

The last action, while controversial at the time, turned out to be the kick-start Harare needed. A high level of foreign investment and an urban renewal sympathetic to cultural values saw the return of the colourful markets and ethnic cafes and bars, but without the shanty towns and ghettoes. Today, Harare is once more a city thriving on culture and commerce, with renovated heritage buildings standing side-by-side with new business blocks.

Seven Dials, in the parish of St Giles-in-the-Fields, is one of the oddest and most interesting parts of London. Tucked away between Covent Garden to the south and Bloomsbury to the north, it miraculously escaped wholesale redevelopment in the 1960s and now bears only a few scars from that unenlightened period.

The name Seven Dials comes from the place, in the southern part of the district, where seven small streets meet to form a star. The obelisk at the centre of the star where the seven streets meet is a modern replacement, but from here narrow streets of the 18th century and one or two earlier houses radiate towards Covent Garden, Charing Cross Road, Shaftsbury Avenue and Long Acre. There is still a small market here every weekday, which has been here for more than a century. Charles Dickens (1812-70) called the area Tom-All-Alone’s in his novel Bleak House, and something of the atmosphere Dickens must have known still lingers.

]]>

The old road to Oxford (now Oxford Street) runs along what is now the northern extremity of the district, and it passes close by the parish church of St Giles, patron saint of lepers. For centuries church officials paid for a last drink at the Resurrection Gate inn for the condemned who passed the church and pub as they took their journey by cart from Newgate Prison in the east to the gallow at Tyburn (now Marble Arch) in the west.

The inn (rebuilt in the 19th century and renamed the Angel Inn) still stands next to St Giles Church. This was completed in 1712 after the earlier church began to collapse. St Giles is one of a tiny number of London churches that escaped Victorian ‘improvements’ and bombing in the Second World War.

The plague of 1665, probably the worst outbreak in the whole of history of that terrible disease, began in this area. By the 18th century, when William Hogarth (1697-1764) depicted the area in his famous engraving Gin Lane, this was a place avoided by anyone the least bit respectable. It was also considered beyond the reach of the authorities.

Gin shops abound, and poverty and desperation made the inhabitants widely feared. If a criminal from the area was being taken from Newgate to Tyburn, extra soldiers were often drafted in to guard him because, as likely as not, his friends would mount a rescue operation as he stopped for his last drink at the Resurrection Gate; and once he’d been carried off into the Rookeries, as Seven Dials was then known – the name deriving from all the tiny rooms filled with families, likes a rooks’ nest – he would never be found.

A Romantic Bed and Breakfast Inn close to Ocho Rios, could be worth a close look before booking a Jamaica vacation this year.

A Bed and Breakfast Inn is definitely not the right description for High Hope Estate, close to Ocho Rios. The term bed and breakfast is totally misleading, although that is the way some reviewers describe High Hope Estate. It is really a small intimate romantic inn, which isn’t expensive, but offers incredibly good value for money. The words affordable hotel describe it well, and much better than a cheap Jamaica Hotel, because that infers things that this elegant Italian Villa style property definitely is not. Affordable very much so, cheap – no way.

High Hope Estate overlooks twenty miles of Caribbean coastline, 550 feet above sea level so it goes without saying that the views are spectacular. It sits within about 40 acres of botanical gardens, which makes it a special venue for large functions.

You may like to consider High Hope Estate as your perfect romantic wedding destination, because it can cater for up to 400 guests in the lovely Hibiscus garden. Your wedding would be very spectacular, with a number of different venues within the grounds according to the size of the wedding party.

]]>

As stated previously High Hope Estate is more than a bed and breakfast inn, but breakfast is possibly the most spectacular of all the meals served here. At breakfast you will be offered home baked bread, and fruit from the trees on the estate. You can eat lunch, which is quite casual, by the very nice pool, and the menu varies every day.

Dinner is a candlelit affair, normally outside, and again the menu which will be slipped under your door changes daily. High Hope Estate prides itself with some justification on its culinary expertise, and all the ingredients are sourced locally and very fresh too!!

High Hope Estate is small intimate and definitely a romantic inn. There are only five rooms named Hibiscus, Pineapple, Royal Palm, Oleander, and Rasta, with each different from the other. They have quite superb views from their verandas, and each has towels for the beach or the pool, as well as being very comfortable and furnished with English and Jamaican antiques. There are spectacular sunrises and sunsets, and this is one of the reasons that High Hope Estate would make a good choice for a cheap honeymoon vacation, because it is such a lovely place to stay at a cost of less than USD200 a night.

If you are an active couple then you don’t have to go far to find all the water sports you could want, white sand beaches to walk on, plus golf and tennis, and even shopping!

If you are idle, then Spa treatments are available on your verandah, or in the small Meditation Hut

There is no doubt that the intelligent opinion is very much that High Hope Estate is a high class bed and breakfast inn offering what you would expect to find in high class hotel. It is intimate, romantic, and an affordable hotel/inn. It really is quite luxurious for this sort of property, and you would find it a great spot for a cheap honeymoon vacation in Jamaica, or even a romantic wedding destination. It bears further investigation.

This writer is a nut over the issue of ambiance in selecting my travel journeys. It just has to “feel right”. And if there is one city that I’ve come across with plenty of spirit in it’s ambiance, it is St. Augustine, Florida, (or San Augustin Viejo) or Antiguo, Old San Augustin, Florida. It’s a destination experience as you’ve never had, causing visitors to step back in time to the founding of our nation way before the Pilgrims arrived. I would dare say this city is a crown jewel of American history just north of the city of Daytona and the Cape Kennedy Center on the east coast. The city of St. Augustine, waits to be discovered once again.

Having descended from Spain on both sides of the family, I was always awed by both the name and the essence of Spain as related by my parents. But the name of St. Augustine stood out. My Mom first visited historic St. Augustine in 1930 on a trip from Havana. Being of Spanish descent she wanted to see St. Augustine, the romantic “sister city” of Havana. St. Augustine was founded by Spain a little after the capital city of Havana was established to the south of Florida. She wanted to both see and feel the spirit and ambiance of Spain in the New World. I have visited St. Augustine three times. There are many beautiful cities in the United States, but in the area of ambiance and spirit, St. Augustine is tops. There is a spirit and ambiance in this city of St. Augustine which I have not found in other beautiful cities along the southeastern United States.

Easily Accessible
Always driving up to St. Augustine on A1A from Miami or off of I-95, it has never failed to impress me whether I traveled in May or during Thanksgiving. Easily accessible from the spacious Florida Turnpike, I-95 or heading straight up or down the scenic A1A, God knew just what He was doing when He situated St. Augustine, this beauty of a city, on Florida’s northeast Atlantic coast. This writer believes that this St. Augustine, city of ambiance, should be one of the prime places of destination.

Historical Overview
To see St. Augustine is to see, live, and wonder at history come alive! It is a city which was founded in the spirit of conquest, exploration and dominion of the Old World’s quest for power and riches. It’s ambiance is one of exotic adventure. And this is the spirit which is conveyed to the visitors.

One could almost compare it to colonial Williamsburg, Virginia but of course, this city is considerably older. It also has another ambiance to it and was already established as a stop over from Havana in the 1500’s to Spain. The flags flown over St. Augustine have been many: the Spanish, the French, the English, and finally, our own Stars and Stripes. Yes, there is today a very modern city but it is San Augustin Antiguo or Viejo (Old St. Augustine) which causes countless of millions to walk and ride through it’s streets over the years. There are other Spanish colonial cites but it is this one which has the ambiance of Old World Conquest.

St. Augustine, remains today the very oldest permanent European settlement in our United States. Founded by Spanish conquistador/explorer Pedro Menendez de Aviles in 1565, it was already in existence when the English settlers landed in Jamestown and Massachusetts. It reeks of the era of militaristic colonialism. Visions of explorers, soldiers, and families are easy to visualize.Today, children may not even have heard of St. Augustine. Only recently a close friend asked me what about St. Augustine was so significant. Ugh!

Local Color
A cross between New Orleans and most any other Spanish colony, if one is looking for local color steeped in ambiance, then St. Augustine is the one to see. Between it’s Spanish colonial; early French and American influences found in many architectural edifices, a walk through St. Augustine is a walk not only through history but picturesque charm and ambiance personified.
Huge elm and oak trees adorn city streets and sidewalks lined with Victorian and Edwardian period houses – original ones. There is town square with a beautiful gazebo and an unfortunately, but historically valid part of St. Augustine – a slave auction block. Spanish stucco and adobe houses plus the earlier “coquina” building materials used (made from crushed sea shells and mud) will add a spirit and ambiance to the building areas which are equipped with authentic period furnishings and manned by very well versed costumed guides. The spirit which made America great in seen in the architecture St. Augustine.

The People of St. Augustine
Her people are fully aware of their dependence on tourist revenue and play courtesy to the hilt. I’m not saying this is bad. It is good business. I find the courtesy and friendly nature of this city of ambiance and it’s townspeople to be refreshing.

This writer has been to other historical cities which depend on tourists and the populace didn’t truly care how tourists were treated. I have never found the crowds to be overly great at any time which is the way I like it. No lines to make nor any rude tourists or natives coming at each other. There is a spirit of congeniality all about the city.

Old St. George Street Where Shopping Is To Be Experienced
Los Angeles has Olvera Street but St. Augustine has St. George Street. The first established paved roadway in America and approximately 11 blocks long, visitors will love walking down the ancient cobble-stoned road, as the oldest street in the United States. On both sides of the street visitors will be able to spend an entire day and evening going in and out through the little shops offering just about any unique, romantic and curious item.

On St. George Street are other strategically placed romantic and quaint specialty shops. The shops were constructed in the actual buildings dating back to the 16th century of St. Augustine. The building materials are mostly original but due to age there has been damage. Sometimes, you will find a more modern edifice on old St. George Street. I wish it was not an issue but it is and I believe it detracts from the value and ambiance of the old period city.

Traffic on St. George is pedestrian and it would do an injustice converting it into anything other. Visitors are advised, (by myself at least), to go during cooler weather as it can become as hot as D.C. in July. Intersecting up and down St. George Street, visitors find one St. Augustine’s oldest streets and one of much spirit. Charlotte Street, just one block from the bay front area of St. Augustine, has been taken over by more exquisite shops. IN addition are found restaurants, inns, and small professional offices operating out of the charming old homes. There is no shortage of motels, inns, and hotels on this street and city but I always end up at the Holiday Inn which offers not much. However, it is the Old World spirit of St. Augustine which draws so many there.

To enter the City Gates on St. George St. means you have entered a 500 year old time warp and you do not want to get out any time soon. It’s spirit, ambiance and tempo is unique. You’ll find yourself wanting more of it. It is a time warp emanating a spirit of the romantic and ambiance of another era.

So Many Diverse Attractions and most of them within walking distance of each other. Within a few blocks from one another visitors can reach some of the best attractions in St. Augustine available by foot or horse and buggy rides. Trolley trains ad to the spirit and so do van trains leaving convenient depots every 15 minutes. Taking the trolley train, the entire city of ambiance can be seen in 1 ½ days.

Beginning with the very city gates of St. George Street, visitors will find themselves beholding the very first permanent school house. Built about 200 years ago on 14 St. George Street and just one block south of the St. George City Gates you will see history unfold as you enter this “Oldest Wooden School House in America.” Admission is minimal and what a treat for the kids! It seems that St. Augustine has the “oldest everything”!

“The Oldest House” including 2 museums, gift store and picnic areas all for a .00 admission. You’ll also visit the “Spanish Quarters” similar to New Orleans French Quarter. (This one predates the French Quarters by more than 250 years). Visitors can walk through the beautiful St. Augustine Spanish style gardens and houses and refresh themselves at picturesque out door cafes. Admission is free and the walk begins on Florencia St. on St. George St.

“The Oldest Store”, Museum, and Pharmaceutical is also located on this street and visitors can view over 100,000 items on exhibit at this antique general store. Admission was .00. I say “was” as I haven’t been here in a while (about 13 years and I understand several establishments have closed their doors or changed ownership). Kids will love when they see the original “Oldest Jail” which was renovated in part in 1890 by railroad tycoon, Henry Flagler. This old edifice actually served as the St. John’s County Jail until 1953.

There are at least four major museums in St. Augustine: the famous Potter Wax Museum; the Museum of Weapons and Early American History; the very famous Ripleys: Believe It or Not Museum; and of course, the Lightner Museum full of 1888 Victorian memorabilia. I was able to see three of the four in one afternoon and morning trip. Admissions vary with each museum. Of course, visitors can just buy a complete coupon book at the City Depot and save them for a return trip.

The actual sights of both the Ponce de Leon’s fabled Fountain of Youth and the Mission of Nombre of Dios with it’s 208 foot cross seen from up to 25 miles out to sea, are actually a little outside of the Viejo section of the city, but can be walked.

There is also the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum; Fort Matanzas on Anastasia Island located 14 miles south off A1A; and The Castillo de San Marcos (also known as Fort Marion), down a few blocks off St. George St. This world famous and well preserved fort alone is worth the historical trip and lends itself to the ambiance of the city.

There is even a “Ghost Walking Tour” of the city after dark where a guide will take you through city streets, gardens and graveyards after dark…telling you about legends, folk tales, and even ghost stories. Hopefully, you’ll take this tour at Halloween!

Outside Old St. Augustine you’ll find the Bridge of the Lions where excavations have turned up the latest 1700 artifacts. You’ll also enjoy the Alligator Farm just 2 miles south of the Bridge of the Lions. There is no more beautiful site than driving over this old bridge as you enter the city from A1A. And above all, please don’t miss St. Augustine beginning after Thanksgiving through January 1. At this time the entire city is lit up with Christmas lights and that alone sets the romantic spirit and mood of the holidays.

Innumerable Fine Eating Places
Of notable mention is the Restaurant Tavern on the Bay and Pub just one block south of the Fort. Here diners can observe the dancing dolphins on Matanzas (Massacre) Bay or dine amidst one of the most carefully selected collection of antiques anywhere in the grand dining room. Restaurants and eating places of every kind and quality; shops; landmarks and museums – all of this only one block away from the famous Flagler College.
Admission: Is for the most part free but some places do charge admission. Estimated stay: 2 – 4 hours.

Whether you take in a scenic walk along the Malecon boardwalk overlooking the bay, stroll down St. George Street; or take a wonderful horse and buggy ride around the city, this is the kind of destination which can and does attract honeymooners, families, tourists or just an incurable romantic such as myself. St. Augustine has something for everybody. If it’s spirit and ambiance that you want, don’t miss it, it’s on your pathway.

It is evident that in the past two decades Bangladesh Hotels are in sharp rise both in quality and quantity. There are many reasons behind this rise. The most important reason is, prioritizing Bangladesh Tourism by Government and providing back-end infrastructure to flourish the sector. Foreseeing huge opportunity, a number of local and international entrepreneurs came forward with necessary investment to build quality hotels in Bangladesh. The sector was already ripe and was ready to be plucked for profits. So whoever invested in high quality Bangladesh hotels are simply thriving at present. And there is room for many more.

The country started with lone quality hotel, Dhaka Sheraton at the capital city after independence in 1971. There was numerous others at Dhaka and at the main cities of the country but quality of those was not at international level. It is from early eighties that the Bangladesh Travel and Bangladesh hotel industry began to shape up.

Beginning of eighties can be marked in respect to the development of this country for various reasons. The most important event that boosted Bangladesh Tourism and Bangladesh Hotel industry is, a new international standard airport in the capital city came into operation. The previous most important Bangladesh air port, Tejgaon international airport shifted to a new location with international standard infrastructure and runways. Runway facilities at the previous location was inadequate, preventing landing of larger air crafts. With the new Bangladesh Airport named Shah Jalal airport, previously known as Zia International airport in operation, the number of foreign flights rose sharply.

Other significant factor of early eighties was participation of national and international NOGs in socio-economic development of the country. International NGOs and development partners came forward with countless socio-economic development projects. To initiate, implement, monitor and evaluate these socio-economic projects, the number of foreigner visits rose sharply. This caused an increasing demand of quality hotels, motels and other related infrastructure all over Bangladesh.

Again, it is in the early eighties when this country started its journey as garment manufacturer and began to supply a bulk quantity of EEC, USA and Canada apparel need. This is also a reason of the increased number of foreigner visits. Temporary and permanent residency of foreign nationals increased considerably to support newly developed garment industries and trade. They came to know the country and became interested for a lucrative Bangladesh vacations either at the longest natural sea beach at Cox’s Bazar or at largest mangrove forest at Sunderban or at one of many similar natural beauties the country holds.

The reasons above forced the second 5 star hotel in the capital city. Pan Pacific Sonargaon began its operation at the heart of the capital city Dhaka at early eighties. Currently Dhaka is blessed with a number of 5 star rated hotels like Sheraton, Radisson Water Garden, Sarina, Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Regency Hotel & Resort and Dhaka Westin with numerous supportive 4 star and 3 star rated hotels like Lake Shore Hotel & Apartments, BRAC Centre Inn, Swiss Park, Bon Vivant, Rose Wood Residence, Paradise Garden, Royal Park Residence and many others.

Dhaka, the capital city with a heritage of over 400 years, holds the most of the Bangladesh Hotels, both in quality and quantity. Unlike most country, this country is not much decentralized on national and other important activities. The capital city is the main center of most activities of the country. Power, politics, trade and cultural activities revolves mainly around the city. Main attraction of trade is Dhaka Stock Exchange, popularly known as DSE Bangladesh. Expatriate nationals and permanent residents to other countries are one of the most interested parties of DSE Bangladesh and they depend on various Bangladesh news agencies to stay updated on DSE Bangladesh info. All of the Bangladesh news agencies are Dhaka based. Dhaka holds most of the features a capital city should have. Moreover there are many historical places, a number of golf courses and numerous shopping malls to attract the tourists.

Public transportation of the city is inadequately developed, also reflected at all other major cities. Public Taxi service is scarce and poor in standard. Though each and every hotels, big or small is equipped and supported with quality rent a car facilities. There are inter-city bus and train network with moderately good services. All the major cities are connected by countries national airliner Bangladesh Biman and some other local and international airlines.

Second largest city is the port city of Chittagong on the Bay of Bengal. It has a rich sea trade history which can be traced back at Roman period. But as for the hotels, the city was holding lone 4 star rated Agrabad hotel before independence at 1971. At current there are Peninsula, Naba Inn Guest House, Harbour View, Tower Inn etc. all 4 star rated. Also there are 3 star rated Saint Martin, Asian SR, Century Park and many more.

The most attractive place for visitors and tourist, Cox’s Bazar holding the longest natural sea beach is around 100 miles South of Chittagong. This place is highly supported by good quality hotels, motels and Guest houses. There is Seagull-5 star, Kollol-4 star and a number of 3 stars like Media International, Sea Crown and numerous guest houses. Saint Martins, a beautiful island at Bay of Bengal further south with beaches all around is supported by enough good quality guest houses.

There are quality hotels in other major cities. Rose View, a 5 star is at Sylhet, a beautiful city sharing same geo-continental plate with Indian hilly state of Meghalaya. Western Inn, Royal International and Arcadia are at Khulna, a city southern part of the country, at the largest mangrove forest district. Cities like Bogra, Comilla, Jessore, Rajshahi and most others current hold at least one or two 5 or 4 star rated hotels.

All Of Bangladesh Hotels are supported by its own restaurants. Wide variety of cuisines of international standard are available here at reasonable price. Capital city enjoys at least a few restaurants of every cooking style, like Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indian, Mexican, Swiss, Italian, Continental etc. There are number of international chain food shop like McDonald, KFC, Pizza Hut etc and numerous local chain food shop. Almost every modern shopping malls are supported by these kind of standard food shops. It is to be noted that local or Indian style cooking is too hot and too spicy for a westerner habit. It is advisable that tourists and visitors pick their foods very carefully.

Most Bangladesh Hotels are supported by its own medical, workout and swimming pool facilities. Bank outlets or ATM can be found inside, at the lobby area. Hotels in Bangladesh are surrounded by lucrative shopping malls. Tourists are mostly attracted by the pink pearls of Bangladesh. Local antiques and handy crafts are also of high value and exported to EEC countries in bulk quantities each year. Visitors and tourists enjoy Arong, a chain department store of local handy crafts and antiques and some other similar local branded shops.

However, Bangladesh tourism has an unrecoverable natural difficulty. Bangladesh weather do not support vacations round the year. The country is at tropical monsoon area in between Himalayas in the north and Bay of Bengal in the south. Summer is too hot followed by a long rainy season which is not convenient for moving around and site seeing. Winter starting from mid November to mid February is the period of vacation seekers in here. Temperature in this period stays at around 20C and humidity around 60-70%. So Bangladesh weather dictates that any Bangladesh travel should be carefully planned for timing.

There are other hazards for Bangladesh tourism too. The main cause of these hazards is over population. Population is so dense that it is hard to keep up a good maintenance of facilities. Like, the cities are not clean enough, city roads are not adequate nor in good condition etc. So there are few do nots for first time visitors and tourists. Street beggars are numerous and can make a havoc if any visitor approaches sympathetically. Ignoring or not noticing is the best and safe approach in this matter. It also goes for over enthusiastic vendors trying to sell his products. Be aware when purchasing anything out of hotel area. Offer half of the price asked for a product and walk away if refused. Carry mineral water bottle and mosquito repellent when touring remote areas. And very importantly choose your food very carefully if you have to dine at a restaurant out of your hotel. Local and Indian food flavour may be mouth watering but tough digesting too! So do not take much if not familiar or habituated with this cooking style. You can always enjoy your stay at your choice of Bangladesh Hotel and enjoy Bangladesh vacations if you remain healthy and in good health.

If you want to fly to Bangladesh we are welcome. There are many things to savor. Many places worth a visit. But do you know one thing? Do you know how you are ripped off by airliners when you travel, wherever you travel? Save in you flights knowing the secret deals you can get. Cheap Flight Secrets Revealed.

Traveling as a couple is a great way for two people to connect, and can be very romantic. The sense of excitement that travel holds can be similiar to the giddy feeling you both may have had, just before that first embrace. When traveling together, some couples will chooselarger chain hotels, but others prefer a more intimate, off-the-beaten-path approach. A bed and breakfast can be a nice break from the hustle and bustle of ordinary hotel stays, providing a lovely setting for a truly romantic getaway where just the two of you can relax and focus on each other.

When seeking bed and breakfast accommodations, it is important to do your research. Some are very luxurious, even posh, while others have a more quaint and rustic feel. Many have historical substance, and most have the sort of private and intimate natural atmosphere sought out by couples since the beginning of time. The Tampa Bay area has many great bed and breakfast options for traveling couples seeking that amazing sunset stroll down a beautiful shoreline. Here are my top picks for a romantic stay in the Tampa Bay area.

#1. The Don Vicente De Ybor Historic Inn in Tampa, FL
www.donvicenteinn.com

The Don Vicente De Ybor Historic Inn is the ultimate boutique hotel for a romantic Florida getaway, offering all of the charm and architectural beauty of historic Ybor city in Tampa. Built in 1895 by the founder of Ybor city, it was beautifully refurbished in 1998. Hardwood floors, antiques from around the world, Persian rugs and beautiful chandeliers create a sophisticated, even swanky atmosphere that is reminiscent of some elegant time period in the distant past where romance, inner-beauty and true chivalry were still, (whimsical sigh), a standard.

The intimate and historical boutique inn has 16 guest rooms, well-furnished, with romantic cast-iron balconies. There are two full-service bars and a full dining room. A complimentary breakfast is always offered with your stay, as well as broadband Internet, so you still have the option check in on all of your important affairs while you’re “busy” escaping it all.

Couples will have a wonderful time checking out all of the attractions that Tampa Bay has to offer. Several theme parks, museums, and performing arts theaters are located within close driving distance of the Inn. The popular Channelside District is located nearby as well, where couples can visit the intriguing Florida Aquarium and enjoy the
nightlife. The Don Vicente is a VERY romantic place to stay during your exciting Tampa vacation.

Sited in the centre of Abu Dhabi’s Central Business District, adjacent to the stunning Shaikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), we at Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi are the ideal venue for your business meeting. Just a 5 minute drive away from Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), and15 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport, our extensive modern facilities attract both local and international delegates.

A centre for business and pleasure

The glass façade and palm-fringed driveway of our 11-storey hotel is in perfect keeping with its surroundings. Abu Dhabi is thought of as a glittering modern conglomerate of tower blocks. However, the city has a history stretching back 3000 years, and beyond the high-rise architecture of man-made islands like Al Sowwah and Al Reem, there is a wealth of attractions to entice both the leisure guest and the business visitor.

Our rooftop pool gives superb views of the magnificent Grand Mosque, while the SKMC complex, adjacent to us at Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi, is a triumph of modern architecture.

Its white crenulated walls emulate traditional styles seen elsewhere in the city, such as the fortresses of Al Maqtaa and Qasr al-Hosn. Other cultural attractions include Khalifa Park, the Heritage Village, and Al Ain where you’ll find parks, museums and a zoo. Or visit the Camel Market for a unique view of traditional Arabian life.

Coastal attractions

Abu Dhabi is an island city, connected to the mainland via three bridges. We at Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi are just minutes from the fabulous Corniche, a palm-crested coastal boulevard of parks, gardens and fountains. Take time out for a stroll from the chic marina to Corniche Park, a pleasant leafy sanctuary with facilities for bird watching and fishing.

The city has 10 km of pristine silver beaches, but with 400 km of coastline to explore, why not take a coastal cruise on a traditional dhow? Corporate outings can be arranged from the passenger port, which is being developed into a major cruise hub by the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority. We at Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi are ideally sited for tourism events, with Abu Dhabi’s prime business sites and leisure attractions on our doorstep, and a fabulous range of facilities within the hotel.

The islands of Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi is surrounded by a number of other islands – some man-made and some natural. Saadiyat , which connects to Abu Dhabi island via a 5-lane motorway bridge, will be the city’s cultural hub by 2018. It will feature museums, art galleries and a branch of New York University. Al Reem is a thriving centre of business, leisure and commerce, with shopping malls, amusement parks, museums and an aquarium.

Futaisi is a privately owned, environmentally protected island rife with history and wildlife, and a popular tourist spot. Lulu, the closest island to us at Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi, is a beautiful man-made getaway with cafeterias, restaurants and beaches. It will soon be accessible via a tunnel and bridge.

Why pick us?

Close to the malls, beaches and cultural sites – as well as the city’s prime business districts – we at Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi are the ideal choice for both business and leisure visitors.

With multiple meeting rooms, leisure club, spa, two restaurants, luxuriously appointed guest rooms and Wi-Fi throughout, we support every need.
